Understanding Basic Safelist Marketing
The concept of safe-lists began so that marketers could "safely" advertise to others, without fear of spam accusations. In a safelist, each member agrees when joining to accept all email advertisements from all other members. They, in turn, can also advertise to the membership, too. So, like an email "opt-in" list, a safe-list is another kind of email marketing.
Because of this, it is very important to understand that each member agrees to and will receive
A LOT OF EMAIL EVERY DAY!
In fact, it is common to receive hundreds of emails each day from just one safelist. The good news is that there are many ways to easily and effectively manage this email in just a few minutes each day-- and these are all explained in detail in the members' area of Traffic Pro List.
Understanding The Credit-Based Safelist
Adding the aspect of earning credits by clicking a link in each email -- and simultaneously sending traffic to the sender's site of choice -- turns the traditional safelist into a dynamic traffic generating tool. Not only does it ensure that each email will be opened and read, it also creates real traffic to your website. And, in the mean time, the members receiving these emails are motivated to click on the links because they earn credits for each page viewed.
But this system only works if members are motivated to use it and active in their membership. For this reason, Traffic Pro List monitors the amount of credits distributed carefully, adjusting them to encourage all members to participate in the whole process. Buying credits is not encouraged, nor is hordeing them. Also in-active members are removed so as to keep a responsive list.
Effective Marketing Means Daily Activity
One of the most important aspects of effective marketing is consistency. This is why, in Traffic Pro List all members are allowed to send emails daily and all members are allowed to send to every level.
Before You Join
For now, the most important detail to understand is that you will need two, email accounts, before joining. These accounts should be completely separate from your regular email account(s). Many email servers offer free accounts, but not all accept safelist email (see banned list, at left).
The following email servers are highly recommended as they provide free accounts and do not filter out or bounce emails from safelists.

There are several other guidelines that should be followed with these email accounts.

No Re-Directs To Banned Email Servers
Also, please do NOT use POP3 accounts (website based) that re-directs to one of the banned email servers, as this will still cause a problem.

No Vacation or Auto-Responders
Please be sure the vacation or auto-responder functions of the email address are turned off, since this will cause the system to intepret these messages as "bounced" and disable your account.

Do Not Use Special Verification Accounts
Accounts which use such devices as Spam Arrest or other verification checkers do not work with the safelist system since they, too, send an auto-response which the system interprets as a "bounce" and which the safelist cannot verify. Using these will cause the system to de-activate the account.
